Although this spirit encompasses two distinct regions, we decided against bottling it as a 'Duo' expression, as the blending took place long before it reached our hands. This makes a significant difference; the extended cask maturation has allowed both flavor profiles to fuse perfectly into one. At this point, the cask strength has mellowed considerably, making it incredibly drinkable without feeling thin. The ester-driven notes are not overtly aggressive, which we believe is actually a strength, providing ample space for the layers and complexity accumulated through aging to fully shine. In this timeless masterpiece, Guyana is the canvas, and Jamaica provides the brushstrokes.
