｜Brand Origin and Name

The Whisky Jury launched its first bottling in August 2019: Ben Nevis 1995, headquartered in Mechelen, Belgium. The brand was founded by Joeri.
JURY sounds like the founder's name "Joeri," so he thought it was a great idea to name the brand The Whisky Jury; it would be a shame not to!

｜Brand features

The brand mainly focuses on Scottish single malt whisky, but there are also several bottlings of rum and cognac. Their pricing strategy is aimed at encouraging the bottles to be opened and enjoyed, rather than being collected.

｜Cask selection

“You must fall in love with the cask sample before it gets bottled”. Joeri only bottles what he loves, not what the market or certain markets want. This reflects his personal taste; he hopes that after tasting some of his bottlings, people can understand his preferences. For example, he doesn’t like sweet flavors but prefers those with fruity aromas, complexity and balance.

｜Rum Selection

Joeri believes that their rum bottlings (he loves rum!!) should not look too "whisky-looking" to avoid confusion. Therefore, he came up with the concept of "The Many Faces of Rum" and has minimized the "The Whisky Jury" brand on the label.
