關於 Great Northern Distillery
Great Northern 這間酒廠是由前 Cooley 酒廠創辦人，同時也是也是 Teeling 酒廠創辦人的父親 John Teeling 建立的。
John Teeling 在 Cooley 時期由因出售較多低年份存酒給別的酒廠或品牌，導致沒有⾜夠的存酒能夠熟成，因⽽失去了建⽴品牌的根基。在2011年的時候 Beam Inc. 就將 Cooley 酒廠收購，而 John Teeling 則是從 Diageo 收購 Great Northern Brewery 這間啤酒廠並改建成威士忌酒廠，並於2015年7月31號開始蒸餾，正式更名為 Great Northern Distillery，而 Great Northern 現在則是愛爾蘭產量第二大的酒廠。
Great Northern 目前威士忌產量約為1600萬升，擁有壺式蒸餾器跟連續式蒸餾器，可以生產出穀物威士忌、二次蒸餾麥芽威士忌、三次蒸餾麥芽威士忌、泥煤麥芽威士忌及壺式蒸餾威士忌等各種類型威士忌提供給當地品牌威士忌及小酒廠作為使用。

Nose：Soft and fresh mango, tangerine, pineapple and the sweetness from melon. Then floral scent, honey, nuts, dryness and vanilla.
Palate：Well rounded sweetness from tropical fruit, green apple, butter, butter chocolate, nuts, vanilla, fresh wood and spices.
Finish：Medium finish. Sweet tangerine, banana, green apple, malt, dryness, vanilla and spices.
On the nose one can smell the sweetness of fresh fruit, yellow honey and vanilla. On the palate, one can taste the sourness from tropical fruit and the rounded softness of butter. In the finish, some dryness, vanilla and spices come through. Overall performance is beyond its age, sweet finish is rather pleasant.
