This is our first English whisky released under the Fragrant Drops label, coming from the vibrant powerhouse that is Adnams Brewery & Distillery. It also marks our highest ABV bottling to date, at a staggering 66.4%! Given our passion for dessert-like profiles, this expression was finished in Sauternes casks.
The lovely illustration pays homage to Adnams' long-standing tradition of using dray horses to deliver their beer; the last two horses, Sam and Monarch, only retired in 2006!

Nose: Pencil shavings, stewed tomatoes, Juicy Fruit gum.
Palate: Celery, lead pencil, salted dried plum, preserved dark plum, woody notes, minerality.
Finish: Essential oils, ginger, dark wood, hawthorn, a touch of sweetness.
