This is the Peak Strength cask strength version from the English White Peak Distillery. Its beauty lies in the preservation of the high alcohol concentration of the original cask (69.8%), which allows all its flavor characteristics to be magnified and highlighted.
This whiskey sold out via pre-order before it was even released. Only 72 bottles were produced in total, with half being distributed to Taiwan (!) and the Netherlands, and only a small portion reaching retail channels in the UK.
The illustration on the wine label depicts the location of the distillery, but it traces back to the scene from when it was still a wire processing factory.
