｜Distribution Channel In Taiwan

There are plenty of well established liquor stores in Taiwan, Whisky AGE Ltd. is pleased to be working with them so our carefully selected bottlings can be found in every corner of Taiwan serving local customers. Therefore, our second bottling brand, WHISKY AGE, can only be found in the stores of our distribution partners, Whisky AGE Ltd. does not even sell them ourselves. Our international distributors however, will sell both WHISKY AGE and The Whisky Blues.

｜Our Cask Selection Philosophy

The most important ethos of Whisky AGE Ltd. is to only bottle spirits that move us.

This statement may seem obvious, but it is full of challenges when put into action. No matter how challenging, we will continue on our path.

｜Less wild and more consideration

Compared to The Whisky Blues’ “do as we please” attitude, WHISKY AGE’s cask selection process is slightly different. Imagine you are meeting an important friend today, the most basic courtesy is to bring a bottle that is delicious. However, you are not so sure of his/her taste, therefore you would not necessarily bring a bottle that is too wild of a choice, you would bring one that he/she will definitely like. This is what we have based our cask selection process on: put the person you will be sharing a bottle with at the forefront of your heart.

｜Select from a wide range of casks in our inventory

This is the process of how Whisky AGE Ltd. selects its casks: first we expand our cask inventory, not only do we want casks to be of good quality, we also want a wide range of variety. This way we are able to take our time to examine how each cask performs by extracting samples regularly. When a cask is still too young or has not met our standard, we will wait for it to mature, even if it takes 10 or 20 years. Whisky AGE Ltd. aims to be around for generations, we are not in a rush!

｜Select good spirits, not just the name of the distillery, place of origin or style

One cask, one world. The name of the distillery does not represent the flavour of each single cask. When we select which cask to bottle, we focus on the taste and flavour, this is the most important. At the same time, whether it is Scotch single malt, single grain, Irish whiskey, rum or any other type of alcohol, as long as it is worthy of a recommendation, we will bottle it!

｜Theme of the Label: Tree Rings

Maturation in a cask is the most important process of what makes great whisky. Growth rings are the same as whisky, it represents years, sometimes generations. Every drop of golden liquid is the direct result of years of waiting. In the WHISKY AGE series, we use growth rings to embody the concept of time, in honour of whisky.
