“BossCat”
Aldunie 這個名字，指的是 Kininvie 奇富的湯匙桶，相當稀有。在整個 Whiskybase 將近 22 萬筆的威士忌資料庫裡，只有區區不到 10 款，其中包括一支當年 The Whisky Blues 在 2021 推出的聖誕特別版。
是的，艾雷重擊兩年前選過一桶 Aldunie 1997 #1511。決定拍案的時候多少猶豫了一下下，聖誕版裝這麼冷門的酒，沒問題嗎？當然沒問題，我們追求的一直都是好喝最重要。也幸好，喝過的酒友評價非常高，大家愛死那個青蘋果果香了，很快就銷售一空。之後我們參展，除了班尼富以外，最常被問的就是「你們這次有帶 Aldunie 嗎？」很抱歉哪，當時賣太快留的數量太少，讓它缺席了很久。
不過還好，就在今天，Whisky AGE 最新裝瓶的 Aldunie 1997 #1512 即將要在台灣各經銷陸續上架了。不管是之前沒喝到，或是想重溫 Aldunie 美好風味的，動作要快！
Dave Broom 曾在文章中比較過 Kininvie 與 Balvenie 的新酒風味。他說：「與 Balvenie 相較之下，Kininvie 更偏向花香調，更輕盈甜美，更少的香草及穀物，但有著更多酯質果味及悠長的絲滑口感。」也難怪，光是新酒聽起來就這麼棒，那麼熟陳 25 年之後會出現如此的美味，確實不意外。
還不急去下單的話，就繼續看看酒標吧。這次貓老闆化身為喫茶樓的老闆，端著杯熱茶，用深邃的眼神望向遠方。隱約聽到他喃喃唸著：「這麼好喝又稀有的 Aldunie，下次再遇到不曉得哪年哪月了。不來一瓶嗎？」

Tasting Notes
Soft and sweet apricot together with the scent of melon on the nose, as soon as it enters your mouth, the fruitiness explodes in your mouth. Floral, buttery, waxy and sweet spices come one after the other. Sugary fruity finish leaves you wanting more.
Nose: Soft apple, apricot and slight lemon scent. Soft floral, honey and salty butter together with the smell of nuts and mint.
Palate: Obvious taste of apricot and melon as well as the flavour of syrup, walnut and some waxiness with spices.
Finish: Medium to long finish. Citrus peel, melon, apricot, honey, nut and some mild ginger and spices.
