|Brand Origin and Name
Founded in 1995 in France by the Markey family, consisting of father Philippe and children Cynthia and Amaury. There is a French pun: “Le club des Gus’t,” “Dégustation,” which can be roughly translated as "Tasting Club." The brand name is derived from this. The elements of the brand logo represent each family member's standards for taste and tasting.|Inspiration for Brand Creation
Originally selling wine, they have nine stores in the south of France and are very passionate about wine. When selecting wines, they choose directly from the wineries, so it naturally led them to want to select other types of fine wines as well.|Label Inspiration
The labels can feature photos of the whisky region or simply a memorable image they have chosen.|Cask selection
All cask selections are made directly from warehouses in Scotland. The selection requires consensus from all family members; otherwise, they skip it. There is no specific cask type or distillery they must have; rather, the cask should represent their bottling brand. They hope the spirit itself is balanced, with the basic requirement being that the aroma must balance with the alcohol content. They only want to bottle spirit they truly love and feel compelled to bottle.|Spirit is Meant to be Enjoyed
They hope everyone can easily access Le Gus’t's bottlings, which is evident from their affordable pricing. They believe wine can be collected, but it should primarily be shared and enjoyed.
