Plums and raisins, lots of blond tobacco. Very chocolaty on the palate with leather, cherries and spices.

Whiskyfun Serge said "Oh and Maltbarn, this was excellent."
How excellent?
"… As if someone would have added a drop of Chartreuse to a classic Macallan."
"Nose: honeys, marmalades, and touches of limestone and flints. Then dried figs, beeswax, maple syrup, pine needles, drop of miso and Bovril, and just a few drops of amontillado. Not even sure this is a sherry cask – well it sure should be."
And from WhiskyNotes' review:
"Nose: very rounded, raisiny sherry. Plum jam, hints of milk chocolate, fudge and sweet berries. At the same time there is a mentholated / eucalyptus note as well as some worn leather. Almonds. Sweet tobacco. Whiff of cedar splints."

Let's enjoy it!
