The four-day Taipei Int'l Wine & Spirits Festival concluded successfully on Monday. Many whisky enthusiasts, upon seeing our backdrop and the number of bottles displayed, couldn't help but ask, "Are you planning to move the Tainan store up here?" Indeed, since the opening of our Whisky AGE Concept Store, many whisky lovers from the northern Taiwan have been eagerly asking when we will open a branch in Taipei. This time, we decided to open a pop-up store in Nangang! You can taste all the own brand whiskies we have released over the past year, as well as the distributed brandsMessage Copilot Two Stacks Irish Whiskey Irish Whiskey and Compagnie des Indes rum.
In addition, Two Stacks brand ambassador Donal McLynn held three tasting sessions on Friday and Saturday, all of which were fully booked. This surely helped more Taiwanese whisky enthusiasts understand their brand's ideas and creativity in whisky. The highly popular Double Irish Cream Liqueur sold out all the stock brought to Taipei by the third day. Thank you all for your support!
Over the four consecutive days, our own brand whiskies consistently ranked among the top favorites each day. Among them, WHISKY AGE's Jura 16 Years, with its white grape and woody aromas, was particularly liked by many. Some even decided to purchase a bottle after just one glass. The Pulteney 16 Years, with its honey, coconut, and oolong tea notes, and the Mannochmore 8 Years, with its creamy pie and honey tea aromas, were also frequently ordered by the glass. Many whisky friends nodded in approval after tasting them, saying that the quality of our selected whiskies is reliable, which is a great affirmation!
Of course, when visiting us Whisky AGE, you must try Islay whiskies. WHISKY AGE's Caol Ila 13 Years was praised for its familiar peaty fruit aroma, while the heavily peated Bunnahabhain 15 Years with its roasted oyster sweetness left a lasting impression. The Whisky Blues Bowmore 26 Years, with its smoky fruit, peat, and charcoal coffee notes, had some people ordering glass after glass, showing their love for this whisky. Finally, the ultra-aged Secret Islay 32 Years surprised some with how sweet and delicious an aged peaty whisky can be! It seems that the whiskies we prepared this time have hit the mark with everyone, making it all worthwhile!
We hope that these four days at the Taipei Int'l Wine & Spirits Festival have introduced more whisky enthusiasts from the northern Taiwan to us!. If you have the chance, welcome to visit us in Tainan!
