Foursquare 四方酒廠的蘭姆酒在市場上一直都很搶手，這背後，當然是有原因的。
首先，是品質。Foursquare 經常橫掃多個國際獎項，不只是單一酒款，酒廠也常常獲獎。比方從 2016 到 2022，連續七年拿下 ISC 的蘭姆酒類年度酒廠 Producer of the Year 大獎，以及 2016、2018、2019、2021 前後四次獲得 IWSC 的蘭姆酒年度酒廠 Rum Producer of the Year 大獎，實力超驚人。
其二，風味平易近人。絕大部分 Foursquare 的風味都是走無酯味路線。少了酯值那種喜惡兩極的橡膠或熟果味，又有足夠的酒廠特性及豐富度，也因此，對原本就喝威士忌但剛要開始接觸蘭姆酒的酒友來說，接受度相當高，很適合作為銜接兩種棕色烈酒的橋樑。我們在酒展也常常推薦 Foursquare 給第一次嘗試純飲蘭姆酒的威士忌酒友，命中率極高。
其三，高知名度。沒有接觸蘭姆酒的人通常不知道 Hampden，但多少聽過 Foursquare 四方酒廠的名字，你就知道它的名聲有多響亮了。當然好唸好記也是原因之一，你看看 Uitvlugt，想唸都唸不太出來，再怎麼好喝後來還是只好關廠（誤）。
這張酒標所挑選的貓老闆造型，身份是西裝店的老闆。肩上批著皮尺，鼻梁掛著眼鏡，完全就是手藝高超專業老師傅的模樣，穿著他做出來的西裝一定帥氣逼人。這就是 Foursquare 啊，手藝要是不高超，怎麼有辦法拿下那麼多次的年度酒廠大獎呢！

Tasting Notes
Nose: Smooth raisin, dry fruit, tangerine, butter cream, honey, vanilla, fennel, coconut and spices.
Palate: Full bodied raisin, dry mango, sweet sour preserved fruit, licorice, milk sugar, nuts, and spices
Finish: Medium to long finish with the taste of raisin, dry fruit, tangerine, licorice, sweet sourness from plums, toffee latte, milk sugar, coconut sugar, some dryness with the smell of tea and spices.
Overall flavour profile is excellent, sweet raisin, dry fruit with some sweet sourness from preserved fruit, butter, coconut and spices. The taste is full bodied and well rounded, if you add some water you can taste more of the tropical fruits within it, the sweet sourness of preserved fruits in the finish leaves you wanting more.
