Nose: gentle sulfur notes and black raisins, meaty undertones, star anise, fur, herbaceous essential oil. After some aeration, white raisins and dried plum powder emerge.
Palate: a refreshing, sake-like sulfur sensation, citrus, leather, smoke, cocoa beans, woody tannins, sweet and salty preserved fruit, dried plum powder, star anise, herbal tea, salty olives, smoked tea duck, chocolate.
Finish: long. Lingering woody tannin astringency, a mingling of lemongrass-tinged sulfur and peaty iodine, tobacco, grass jelly, and a tea-like quality.
