This is one of Little Brown Dog’s favorite distilleries. Although this whisky was fully matured in Refill Saint-Émilion Barrique, its flavor is not heavily influenced by the wine casks. Interestingly, it was distilled right after the last batch of peated whisky, followed by the first batch of unpeated whisky, thus blending with the low wines and tails of the previous peated whisky. Over time, it has developed a gentle peaty character. The label features a marble pattern they discovered on the Isle of Arran.
