｜Where does the brand come from?

Two Stacks, an Irish whiskey bottling brand, was founded by three childhood friends, Shane McCarthy, Liam Brogan and Donal McLynn in 2020. The brand’s logo was inspired by the Old Dundalk distillery, which once had the largest and tallest two chimneys in Ireland. They were used by sailors to guide them to shore just like the north star.

Transparency, creativity and innovation are the brand ethos Two Stacks live by. On their bottles’ back labels, you can clearly see how the liquid in the bottle is made and its recipe. They also pioneered “Dram in a can”, putting whisky in a 100ml can for convenience and perfect for camping and outdoor activities.

Working with several leading distilleries in Ireland, selecting some of the best liquids on the island, creating the most outstanding whiskys. They are picking with the casks they use and what sort of finishes are suitable for the liquid. In order to create flavoursome whisky, they look for different types of casks around the world to age their new makes in.

Two Stacks focuses on innovating new products, including putting whisky in a can and cask strength blends of five different spirits. Their products are complex and unique, winning the best independent bottler award two years in a row.
