Tasting Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n Nose: lots of raisins, dried fruits, berries and apples. After that comes cocoa, coffee, nuts, walnuts, cinnamon, cardamom, woods and spices.<\/p>\n Palate: full of raisins and berries, with cocoa, nuts and tangy white pepper and spices.<\/p>\n Finish: soft berries, apple and citrus with wood tannins and spices.<\/p>\n The aromas of berries dominate this dram. Although the type of cask is hogshead, flavor wise it\u2019s more of a sherry cask. Toffee, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, cardamom, woods and spices come after the berries. Loud and clear spices when drinking straight. Adding few drops of water, the aromas of berries open up, the taste stays clean and mellow, and the spices are fading away.
