It's actually a teaspooned cask of Laphroaig (also labeled as Lp on the bottle). It is aged in a barrel, which is smaller and has a different maturation style compared to a hogshead.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s peated and it\u2019s from Islay. Welcome to our first Williamson. It is barrel matured. Being a whisky lover, you know barrels are smaller than hogsheads. So they mature faster.<\/p>\n
The nose is very farmy. Think of a sweating horse. Combined with a leather horse saddle. And a lovely sweet touch. This sweet touch comes back in the palate. With a lot of peat, without being \u2018only peat\u2019. It\u2019s very balanced. No water is needed, the strengt is just fine. And the length is \u2026 well\u2026 long. Cheers!<\/p>\n
