Hong Fu-Tian, born in Tainan, has been traditional painter for many years, especially using the technique of watermark woodcut.<\/p>\n
The Japanese writer Nishikawa Mitsuru integrated his feelings about Taiwan into his literature and painting. Hong Fu-Tian was inspired and deeply moved by this, this led him to re-explore his feelings for his hometown and transform this emotion into art, in turn his work has deep and profound connections to his homeland.<\/p>\n
Tainan, one of the oldest cities in Taiwan, has been constantly evolving. This city is the perfect muse for Hong Fu-Tian's emotions and creations.<\/p>\n

Nose: full-bodied fruitiness. The initial notes are sweet raisins, berries, a hint of bubble gum, cherries, citrus, and a sweet-salty candied sensation. The mid-palate reveals toffee, chocolate, nuts, and walnuts, while the finish brings out cinnamon, nutmeg, wood, and spicy notes.<\/p>\n
Palate: smooth and clean. Flavors of berries, prunes, a hint of dried plums, jam, dark chocolate, coffee, walnuts, nuts, wood, cinnamon, nutmeg, and spices.<\/p>\n
Finish: medium. Berries, cherries, citrus, dried fruits, dark chocolate, a slight woody tannin sensation, cinnamon, nutmeg, and spices.<\/p>\n
The Palo Cortado Hogshead imparts a full yet clean sensation of raisins, berries, and a sweet-salty candied note to the body. The balance between the richness and fruitiness is just right, leaving a lingering berry flavor on the palate.<\/p>\n
